An electric car charging units refers to a charger that provides energy supplementation for electric vehicles. Its function is similar to a gas dispenser in a gas station. The input end of the electric car charging units (charger) is directly connected to the AC power grid, and the output end is equipped with a charging plug for charging electric vehicles. Generally, two charging methods are provided: conventional charging and fast charging.
Electric car charging units (chargers) can be classified according to installation method, installation location, charging interface, charging method, etc.
1. According to installation method
It can be divided into floor-standing charger and wall-mounted charger. Floor-standing chargers are suitable for installation in parking spaces not close to walls. Wall-mounted chargers are suitable for installation in parking spaces close to the wall.
2. According to installation location
According to the installation location, it can be divided into public chargers and dedicated chargers. Public chargers are charging piles built in public parking lots (garages) combined with parking spaces to provide public charging services for social vehicles. Special chargers are charging piles used by the construction unit (enterprise)'s own parking lot (warehouse) and used by internal personnel of the unit (enterprise). Self-use chargers are chargers built in personal parking spaces (garages) to provide charging for private users. Chargers are generally constructed in conjunction with parking spaces in parking lots (garages). The protection level of the charger installed outdoors is not lower than IP54. The protection level of the charger installed indoors is not lower than IP32.
3. According to the number of charging interfaces, it can be divided into one-machine-one-charge and one-machine multiple-charge.
4. According to the charging method, chargers can be divided into DC chargers and AC chargers.
